.movie "must-see-soon" list.

In my last post I expressed my (tearful) love for Mother and Child, a heart-wrenching film about three women touched by adoption.  I also suggest The King's Speech;  Scott and I went to see it this past weekend at an adorable little theater downtown.  They served Boston Stoker coffee, mixed drinks, and of course popcorn, and we felt like we had been to the old historic theater in Staunton, VA when we were dating.  Here are some other films I have on my "must-see-soon" list:

{Bridesmaids - Scott just showed this to me today...I love Kristen Wiig and Mya Rudolph...enough said}

{Made in Dagenham - women striking about sexual discrimination and unequal pay in the 60s}

{Blue Valentine - I will always have a soft spot for Ryan Gosling. This is the second film playing at the little theater downtown right now.  We might just have to go see it too...}

{Poetry - I know I'm going to love this movie for the adorable woman alone.  She reminds me of my English advisor in my undergrad}

{The Other Woman}

{Rabbit Hole}

{Africa Cats}

{I know I will be seeing these next two with my husband because these are on his list: Even the Rain and Of Gods and Men}

And finally, my 8-year-old self would have been so excited to see this next one, Tornado Alley.  Yes, I was a huge dork and my life dream was to be a tornado chaser...
